On the morning of April 10th, a series of carbon fiber projects of Jilin Chemical Fiber Group, located in Jilin Economic and Technological Development Zone, began construction. These projects include Jilin Carbon Valley's annual production of 30000 tons of high-performance carbon fiber raw material, Guoxing Composite's 65000 tons of carbon fiber additives, and the joint laboratory of Automobile Lightweight Composite and R&D Center.

It is understood that Jilin Carbon Valley has been committed to the development of dry jet wet spinning process routes since overcoming the bottleneck technology of wet spinning process in 2017. After more than 5 years of process exploration and technological upgrading, it has met the engineering conditions and applied for patents, becoming the only enterprise in the world that independently develops and owns independent intellectual property rights for both dry and wet spinning routes.

At the same time, the research and development center and joint laboratory projects jointly established with China Aviation Industry Group, as well as the achievements of the automotive lightweight project, will also help the carbon fiber industry expand into high-end application fields. Jilin Chemical Fiber is accelerating the cluster integration development of strategic emerging industries, and the development strategy of "two bundles, three complete, and dual routes" for the carbon fiber industry is becoming clearer; The development direction of scale, differentiation, and internationalization is more clear.
